POW! WOW!
POW! WOW! is all about bringing people together through arts and culture. The streets belong to the people living and working there, and art on walls and in public space is there to be enjoyed by everyone. This is why we believe so strongly in the power of street art. POW! WOW! was founded by artist Jasper Wong in 2010 in Hong Kong. In 2011, the first edition of POW! WOW!, as a week-long festival, was organized in his native state Hawaii. The POW! WOW! mural festival has since grown into a global leader of the street art movement. As the second city in Europe, we are proud to present POW! WOW! to Sweden and our native city, Helsingborg. Between the 27th of August - 3rd of September 2021 we will bring you world class artists, workshops, food and music - to be enjoyed together in the area of Gåsebäck, Helsingborg. Our 2021 line-up will consist of a mix between Swedish, Scandinavian and European artist with a range of various backgrounds; graffiti, stencils, street art and so forth. They are all part of the same big family with an enourmous openess towards each other. The streets belong to all of us, and so does art. The following is a small selection of all the great artists participating in the first edition of POW! WOW! Sweden.
